The SF Ramblers, who kick of the music of our upcoming benefit concert at 4:30pm (doors open 3:30), has officially confirmed their band members! We are excited to have them.
Nina Weisman- Mandolin
Tomas Enguidanos- Dobro
Dave Gooding- Bass
Keith Little- Banjo
John Gooding- Guitar
Helen Ludé (BGFB Founder)- Fiddle
Tune into Ray Edlund’s Pig in a Pen on Sunday January 20th at 4:00pm (KPFA 94.1) and to Peter Thompson’s Bluegrass Signal with Leah Wollenberg on Saturday January 26 at 6:30 (KALW 91.7) for exclusive interviews with our Founder and to hear music by the showcase bands at our upcoming benefit concert.
Our opening act, SF Ramblers, just recruited Tomas Enguidanos as the dobro player of the group. Tomas is a fantastic dobro, mandolin, fiddle, and guitar player, as well as a dedicated songwriter. We are excited to have him!
The SF Ramblers are also excited to welcome Nina Weisman to the group! Nina is an accomplished mandolin player and hot picker traveling far from East Cali, and we are so grateful to have her.
The SF Ramblers band is really coming together. We are ready for you, January 27th!
